Development Pathway

Our development pathway is designed to guide players from their first steps with Outreach Volleyball Club (OVC) through to the club competitions and trainings. This emphasises skill building, teamwork and personal growth for social and competitive players.

Community Training

OVC runs weekly community training catered for new and developing players. We offer these sessions to provide training for all from learning a new sport, weekly exercise, or development to play in competitive competitions.

Position Development

It’s a challenge for players to enter the competitive environment (minimum club requirements) or to specialise in a position. Every session is unique with our coaches constantly adapting and supporting players to improve their competitive gameplay.

For players who may be close to the ‘Intermediate level’. It is the bridge for players looking to participate in Intermediate or Competitive Training.

Competitive Training

You’re nearing the end! For players at the Intermediate level or above, you can participate in competitive training which allows proficient players to continue practicing amongst other proficient players.

Sessions have dedicated Men’s and Women’s courts to facilitate different net height’s and game styles.

OVC runs various tournaments throughout the year! Once you’re at the Fundamental level, we recommend joining our many community and social tournaments. If you’re a serious player, look out for the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Season as clubs across Queensland compete against each other.
