Players must be at least 15 years old to participate in Outreach Events and Sessions.

We offer different training sessions every week for each skill level from Beginners to Experienced.
Location: Nissan Arena, Somerville House, or Redeemer Lutheran College
Times: Sunday Nights 5:45pm to 8:30pm (may change on occasions)
Dates: Every Sunday (may change on occasions)
Format: 150 Minutes total (min.90 mins training, max. 60mins game time) | Two coaches are provided for each court with a player capacity of 18 players.
Join our weekly social games through the registration portal. We release our weekly training sessions every Monday morning.

We offer two social game sessions every week for casual players (min. fundamental skill level required) and experienced skill leveled players.

Format: 150 Minutes total (15 mins warm-up, 15mins King of the Court, 120 mins social games.)

The Development Squad is a 5-week program (ran throughout the year) for selected players to learn positioning and other core skills to participate in club level sessions across the community. We focus on bridging the gap for players to enter into competitive gameplay.
Location: Somerville House
Times: Saturday Nights (In blocks throughout the year)
Dates: Saturday Nights (In 5-week blocks throughout the year)
Format: 2.5 Hours training each week and additional time for theory and review.

Skill Level Requirements
At Outreach, we have developed sessions to accommodate players at every stage of development. We believe in consistency and quality. This is to ensure all players aren’t being disadvantaged by overly experienced or inexperienced teammates.

1. Beginner
For any new players, or players looking to work on core skills.

2. Fundamental
Required to have volleyball experience and be able to competently execute ALL basic skills with proper technique (passing, setting and hitting) to allow for some degree of gameplay.

3. Experienced
Required to be able to coherently execute ALL fundamental skills (serving, hitting, setting, and receiving) consistently for seamless gameplay.
Requires understanding and ability to perform defensive / offensive positioning.

4. Intermediate
Required to be able to execute a high standard of fundamental skills and be able to play 5-1 seamlessly, allowing for semi-competitive gameplay.
Players are expected to be at an experienced level (approx. Metro Standard).
